Iago Iglesias is an associate at Arias SLP, with prior experience at national law firms in Madrid.

He has been involved in the representation of corporate clients in arbitration proceedings and civil litigation before Spanish courts, including matters before the Constitutional Court and the First Chamber of the Supreme Court. His practice covers a broad range of disputes related to contractual and tort liability, particularly in the corporate, banking, and financial sectors, as well as disputes arising from insolvency proceedings and M&A transactions. Iago has also advised publicly listed companies on matters of corporate governance and a variety of corporate transactions, including public offerings, capital increases, and debt issuances.

Iago holds dual degrees in Law and Philosophy from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, graduating in 2021 with Extraordinary Academic Distinction. In 2025, he was awarded second prize for best arbitral award in the 17th edition of Moot Madrid, organised by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

He was admitted to the Madrid Bar in 2025. He is also a member of the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club and of the Spanish Business Litigation Club.
