Angela Portocarrero is a senior associate at Arias SLP. She has six years’ experience in international disputes, the majority of which was acquired in the Madrid office of an international law firm.
Angela has advised Spanish and foreign companies in commercial and investment arbitrations before the main arbitral institutions (ICSID, ICC, LCIA and CIIAM, among others). She has also represented clients in civil proceedings before the Spanish courts. Angela has experience in the construction, infrastructure, energy and natural resources sectors, as well as in contractual and M&A disputes.
She holds a double degree in Law and Political Science and Public Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She completed her masters degree in admission to the bar at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).
Angela was admitted to the Madrid bar and the Spanish and IberoAmerican Arbitration Club (CEIA) in 2021, and she is also part of the team that coordinates the mentoring program of the CEIA.
